There are many
valleys and forests in the Park where,
maybe we will be able to meet.... But you would have to walk "on
tiptoe" and to keep eyes and heart opened in order to discover that
also a overturned stone and a track in the high grass can tell you I
passed there. Come to see me or it's better to say, to discover and
to look at my tracks, in the wonderful Val
Fondillo and at the foot of Marsicano
mountain, but remember: in the deepest silence! |

We are many in
the Park by this time and it is not
difficult to look at us or to hear our strong howl during the autumn,
in the love season. We suggest you to do the itinerary that goes to
Vivo lake, or to visit the glades in the
Camosciara, or the valleys and the
woods of the Mainarde in order
to discover our reign. |

 It is very
difficult to meet me "muzzle to muzzle", but it is wonderful to know
that I still live in the most distant spots of the
Park, where I can run, hunt and play
with my brothers and sisters. If you will come to
Jannanghera valley and in
Val Canneto, you will feel something
different in the air: it is the charm of my presence in the heart of
the woods. And, maybe?! With a bit of luck, we will be able to know
us. |

 There are woods and wonderful forests in the
Park, where we, many old-aged trees
tell you fantastic tales. We are the giants, the patriarchs, the big
trees which are waiting for you for a long time. Come to discover
where we live, how we are done, and to whom we offer hospitality in
our reign. There is a very simple path which takes you to us, to the
Difensa wood, not too distant from
Pescasseroli.

 The
Camosciara, my home with its steeply
rocks and crags; it is the most beautiful place where I can jump
and run during all the seasons. Come here, you will meet me and
you will be able to recognize me easily. During the good season I
will wait for you in Val di Rose
where I stay with my many brothers. But take care not to frighten
us. Look at us from a distance, in silence and you will see... .we
will be best friend!
